Build knowledge
Search, revisions & knowledge graphs
Find knowledge, return to its sources and preserve revisions and relationships.
Search knowledge#
- Open the Knowledge tab in the intended base and search with a material ID or short project keyword.
- Read the entry, tags and source references.
- Open the accessible original and confirm the cited location and document revision.
- If you need synthesis across entries, give the configured model an explicit scope. Local full-text search does not require an online model. Model synthesis and online collection require their connections.
Edit and restore#
Edit an entry's title, body or tags and save to create a revision. Before using an available rollback action, inspect the content to be restored. Revisions are not a replacement for source-file or whole-library backups.
What does a graph mean?#
The graph displays relationships between notes and supports zoom and fit-to-view. Review and adjust automatically suggested similarities. A relationship does not mean a conclusion is approved or that product specifications, prices or brands match.
Import and export#
Versioned knowledge packages support exchange. Inspect additions, conflicts and drafts before importing; do not assume every item will be overwritten. An exchange package is not a complete backup of source files and configuration.
If search finds nothing#
Check the selected base, permissions, draft status and parsing result, then shorten the query. Try the source filename, note title and words from its body as separate clues.
