Practical workflows
Workflow: review joinery references
Compare schedules, drawings and material notes to produce a traceable issue list.
Goal and boundary#
This workflow assists document consistency review. It does not replace design checking, site verification or construction approval. Unreadable drawing text and dimensions must remain flagged for human verification.
Prepare files#
Collect the drawing index, current revision sheets, material schedule and supplier notes, including dates. Start with the demo issue list for practice.
Steps#
- Create a dedicated review conversation. Identify included documents and governing revisions.
- Match rooms and component IDs between the schedule and drawings before comparing details.
- Review finish names, material codes, dimension expressions and interface notes. Preserve ambiguity as a question.
- Return location, both sources, discrepancy, impact, responsible reviewer and status.
- Check originals manually and decide resolutions. Ask AI to update only the confirmed rows.
- Save a new issue-list revision while preserving original drawings.
Copy this request#
Check the joinery schedule against the specified drawing revision.
Report only locatable conflicts and omissions.
For each item, include component ID, filename, page or drawing number, discrepancy and information needed.
Mark unreadable or uncertain dimensions “Human verification required”. Do not infer them.
Return an issue list first. Do not edit drawings or produce construction instructions.
Acceptance#
Another reader can reproduce each issue from its references. Drawing numbers, revisions and locations are explicit. Guesses are not presented as dimensions. Responsible professionals review the findings before formal coordination.
